Parking proposals on view

Traffic and parking problems were discussed at the Meir Community Steering Group meeting on Thursday August 19th.
At the meeting the steering group asked questions and made comments on the traffic management and parking proposals. But the major part of the discussion will take place on Friday August 27th when the plans will be on show at the fun day to be held at The Square from 12 noon to 4pm.
Members attending Thursday’s meeting also heard an update from Great Places on both the Woodville Road refurbishment scheme and new development to the rear of Lyme Road.This new street will be called Old School Lane.
The rented units for both schemes will shortly be allocated through the City Council's Choice Based Lettings system and the shared ownership/outright sale units will be marketed through Plumlife.
