An empty 'Schindler' home has been tested to establish its true condition. Because the houses were built on site, it is likely that workmanship would have been variable. This means that an assumption about the condition of all unimproved Schindler homes on the estate can not be made based on the test results from one property. Therefore, the project group is looking into options of testing some more properties in order to gather more information.
In the meantime, the consultants have been asked to come up with a range of repair methods.
