Pilot house study
RENEW is buying a vacant Schindler house that will be used as a testing site for construction methods.
RENEW North Staffordshire is working with the Galleys Bank Community Steering Group, Newcastle Under Lyme Borough Council, Stoke on Trent City Council and Aspire Housing to come up with ideas to deal with the housing problems on the Galleys Bank estate.
RENEW North Staffordshire has bought a vacant Schindler house on Victoria House. Ideas for construction methods can be tested out on this property, and will ultimately result in the pilot house being brought up to a mortgagable standard.
