RENEW North Staffordshire is undertaking a comprehensive regeneration programme in the City Centre South area of Stoke-on-Trent, which is to the south of the City Centre and includes the neighbourhoods of Etruria, North Shelton and Hanley South.
However, the main focus of the regeneration programme in City Centre South is centred around RENEW’s pioneering urban neighbourhood development, City Waterside.
RENEW is working with partners and the local community, through the City Centre South Community Steering Group, to prepare detailed masterplans for each area.
The regeneration programme for City Centre South draws on the area’s heritage and aims to create a series of vibrant communities in neighbourhoods where people want to live, work and spend their leisure time.
