Residents asked for feedback on design of University Quarter

Plans to make the University Quarter a more attractive place for people to live and work have been given a boost with RENEW’s appointment of design consultants Taylor Young to look at the various ways of improving the area.
This work will complement ongoing projects for the University Boulevard and education-led redevelopment contributing to the overall vision to make the quarter and the city a more inviting place.

The project team will meet local residents at the Community Forum meeting in June to provide an opportunity to explain the project in more detail as well as gaining feedback from residents.

Following the community forum, a drop-in event will be held on June 11th as part of Staffordshire University’s Art and Design Show. The show opens at 6.30pm on the College Road campus, Stoke. Initial findings and ideas will be presented at this event and the team will ask for feedback and input into the design process.

A design competition linked to the project will also be launched.
