Meir meeting honours founder member Ken.
There will be a particular poignancy when the Meir Community Steering Group meets next week. For as well as unveiling a plaque to much-loved Ken Graham, who died a few months ago, the meeting room will from now on bear his name.

Residents asked for feedback on design of University Quarter
Plans to make the University Quarter a more attractive place for people to live and work have been given a boost with RENEW’s appointment of design consultants Taylor Young to look at the various ways of improving the area.

Artwork entrance to city centre gathers pace
A giant mural that welcomes commuters passing City Waterside on their way towards the City Centre and provides a pleasing backdrop for residents is gathering pace. When it's finished, the artwork will tell a story all the way along the road.

Family photos form major artwork display.
Three generations of the same family will be featured in a cornerside artwork display in a major part of the city’s regeneration zone. Jean Ashby, 71, has donated pictures of her parents, grandparents and great-grandparents for the artwork going up in Bucknall New Road, Hanley.
