Meir residents invited to have their say

Meir residents are being asked to have their say on improvements they’d like to see in their community.

Meir Community Steering Group is holding its Annual Open Meeting and Consultation on Estate Improvements on Thursday, February 18 at The Square Community Resource Centre, from 2.30 to 6pm.  

The local community will be given a questionnaire and asked to highlight the top three improvements they’d like to see in their area – from extra car parking and road widening to environmental initiatives and grass verges. 

People who are unable to attend the open meeting can also have their say at further consultation sessions held at the same venue on the following dates:- 

• Saturday, February 20 - 10am -12 noon
• Tuesday,  February 23 - 1-3pm
• Thursday, February 25 - 10am -12 noon

 Responses to the questionnaires should be returned by Friday February 26 and the findings will be collated to establish the community’s priorities.   The results will then be fed back to local residents at a separate event (date to be announced).
