East meets west

East meets West this Sunday, September 19th, when the Stoke West and Oakhill Community Association holds a Sunday fun day celebrating the two cultures.

The event will take place at Boothen Gardens, London Road, from 2pm to 5pm.

Among the attractions will be Bhangra dancing, craft activities, a bouncy castle, jewellery stalls, Asian drumming, Asian cuisine, a café, face painting and a funfair.
