Northwood designs on the drawing board

Design work on prominent public sites in the Northwood area is underway.

RENEW North Staffordshire is planning to carry-out environmental improvements to key site on Northwood’s road network.

Plans for the junction of Keelings Road with Eaton Street and Cardwell Street and land at Old Town Road are currently on the drawing board.

The design work is being carried-out ahead of funding being agreed for work on the ground so that a quick start can be made on site if money becomes available due to delays on projects elsewhere in Stoke-on-Trent over the next few months.

Meanwhile, meetings are currently being held with private landlords who own vacant sites in the Northwood area to see whether they will work together to bring forward land for redevelopment.
