City WatersideSpooky Halloween Party
23 October 2009
City Waterside is holding its annual Spooky Halloween Party on Saturday 31 October at City Waterside Community Centre in Dresden Street.
Lee Carroll, the Neighbourhood Community worker based at the City Waterside Community Centre is once again organising the event.
In the lead-up to the event, which is being supported by RENEW North Staffordshire and the North Staffordshire Regeneration Partnership, residents have been encouraged to create there own spooky Halloween Lanterns. Lee, alongside Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s Neighbourhood Renewal Team, will be holding a Lantern competition with members of the local community. The Lantern Competition judging will be one of the highlight of the party.
You can really get into the spooky spirit by getting dressed up and taking part in some traditional Halloween games.
Lee Carroll said: 'This event is very popular every year and the whole community gets involved. Its great fun'
