Budding artists win UniQ contest
20 July 2010
As part of the ongoing consultation process for the UniQ development area, RENEW recently held a design competition asking budding artists to illustrate gateways into the area. Four prizes have now been awarded.
There were 19 entries in all and the winners were decided by members of the steering group with Malcolm Henson as the community judge.
As well as helping to judge the contest, Malcolm also offered two £10 gift vouchers for 2nd and 3rd places on top of the £100 and £50 prizes.
Malcolm Henson, who volunteered to be the representative for the public on the judging team, works for Henson Editorial Services & North Staffordshire Press Ltd at the business centre of the university.
